recording of a live performance at Hotti Biscotti, Chicago, March 23rd 2004. Set performed using a Roland JX-305, Korg ES-1, Akai Headrush & a few other effects pedals. No MIDI sync, all manually controlled.

This performance and these songs were done during a period of transition in which i was moving from more ambient IDM based experimentation to more beat driven tracks, so it is definitely a mix of the two. some of the tracks are a bit too sprawling and could have been made more concise. it was right after this performance that I finally upgraded to the Korg ESX and started to really find my own personal style and dial it in.
I personally still hear a lot of Orb, FSOL, and late era Ninjatune is these tracks (more specifically the Ntone imprint - acts such as Neotropic's early work).
I'd just discovered the Broken Beat scene and had yet really start to integrate that influence yet.
